This is a pair of ornate, antique-style Baroque altar candlesticks featuring a heavily distressed silver finish and a wealth of classical details. The baluster stems are embellished with intricate acanthus leaf carvings, fluted columns, and stacked decorative knops that lead up to wide, beaded pricket-style drip pans designed for thick pillar candles. Each pillar is supported by a substantial, three-sided tripod base accented with central shell motifs and elegant scroll feet, giving the set a dramatic and historic presence.
