The shaped plank top with graduated band of applied brass cabochon and foliate moulding over smaller band of applied upturned confronted C scroll moulding, receding to central frieze of brass inlaid grotesque mask in foliated scrolls, over further band of applied enclosed cabochon, a square rosette mount at each metope end, the large raised single door framed in inlaid brass bands and foliate moulding, with foliate escutcheon, the central panel with Fine pictorial brass inlay depicting three cherubs; two standing, one suspended beneath garland of flowers, the scene framed by elaborate foliated scrolls, phoenix, figurative and sphinx like grotesques, opening to two shelves, flanked by beaded fluted and volute scroll mounts with acanthus pendant and acorn finial at top and anthemion mount below with foliate inlaid brass standard in between, the sides with plain inlaid brass bands, the whole raised on four turnip feet with further applied moulding.
