The figure naked except for the Nemean lion skin draped across his body.

Provenance: Sotheby’s London Lot 351 14/12/1981.

Condition: Head, arms and one leg from thigh downwards missing, the other leg missing from just below the boot height. There is a more recent chip to the left hand shoulder, considerable wear and ageing, this is a fragmentary piece so see photos for overall completeness and condition.
