With steeply rounded sides rising from a straight foot to the flared rim, decorated on the exterior in underglaze blue, iron-red and green enamel, with two pairs of mandarin ducks divided by clumps of lotus and sedge, above a band lappets and between double line borders, the interior with a similar central medallion, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark.

Condition: Some slight pitting to the glaze surface and a few dark specks in the glaze. Overall good condition.
